About

Welcome to My Sunflower World!

Bohol

Blogging was something I wanted to do, very much, for years! However, I didn’t have the drive to seriously sustain one, nor the courage to make one public when I managed to do so, until I got addicted to a Philippine TV daytime series and by extension, to all the wonderful fan fiction my fellow avid fans have written, and still writing, about the phenomenal show’s most loved main characters. I found myself writing one too, then another, and another!

From then on, it was like a floodgate has been opened. In all those years I have been dreaming of starting a blog, I wanted to somehow put into words and to show through pictures, the beauty and wonder I saw in the places I have been to, in the seemingly ordinary things I observed, and the unforgettable moments I experienced. I’m very happy that I’m doing those too, through this blog.

I’m in a wonderful universe and I’m here to stay!

Cheers and good vibes!

I got the name from the play with the same name, by Sophocles. In Greek literature/tragedy, Antigone is one of the two daughters of Oedipus (of another of the so-called Theban plays called Oedipus Rex wherein he ended up unwittingly marrying his own mother, hence the term Oedipus complex!). 🙂

Hi again, Cha! Literary work. It was the first play I have seen at CCP a long, long time ago. 🙂 I think I have also seen Oedipus Rex somewhere, or studied it, but can’t remember exactly. 🙂
